This special day was a day for Morrison who was baptized today by a beautiful family. The entertainment commenced with Elio, Adelaide’s very own Instrumental, Lounge. Ambient, Wedding guitarist and this was followed by a surprise wedding day with surprise entertainment. Yes you guessed, The Three Amigos Roving Plus 1, Australia’s favorite Mexican Mariachi band. In usual restaurant format, the day commences with gatherings, conversations while food is being served along with the entertainment. In this case Elio provided an ambience that is non intrusive but pleasing to the ear playing a selection of styles from Latin Instrumental to Lounge Grooves. There is always the hint of Latin classics like Sway, La Cucaracha and Quando Quando which are fun crowd pleaser songs. After a few hours, Elio was asked to request the guests to gather outside for a large group photo, little did they know know the bride was getting ready to surprise them all. She’s gettting married !! It was an auspicious occassion and very special. Upon the ending of the wedding ceremony, The Three Amigos came out in their usual fun Mariachi fashion. The crowd loved it, the kids were dancing along to our tunes which was great to see. Within half an hour there were more surprises and Nicola our accordion player entered the scene. He’s a real hit to guests. The Italian community flock to him and love his energy. He has real character and loves what he does. He connects with people and this is quite transparent. Adelaides favorite accordion player Nicola is the go to man for any type of event that needs an accordion player.

Did you know, its a spanish tradition or more so in El Salvador they celebrate a milestone birthday at 15 not 16. Katie, the birthday girl looked absolutely stunning and we were part of this special birthday. The pressure was on as most of them were Latino’s so we had a reputation to uphold. Ole..Requests were flying across the room to mainly old classics that most Westerners wouldn’t know but lucky for the Mariachi Mexican Team we have, which would have to be the best fun, interactive, versatile Mexican Mariachi Band within Australia and possibly the world, and why not….we managed to fulfill their Mariachi requests. Thanks to our boys Carlito and Joselito, the real mariachis of the group.!! There was clapping, singing and dancing and not to mention the plethora of photos that were taken. It was a great Mariachi gig. Thank you everyone.

The Three Amigos Roving Plus 1 performing at a one yr birthday. Thats right kiddies.this popular Mariachi band also perform at kids shows as we have done over the weekend. We had a special request to learn My Girl which was a song from her loving father and we were only to happy to learn this great song. In our break, El Guapo brought his bubble hand held machine for the kids to play. Not only do the kids love bubbles but so does the bubble man of Adelaide, Mr Oopy. During our set, this versatile Mariachi band from Adelaide Australia again played their children’s song such as Toot Toot Chugga Chugga and Hot Potato by the well known children’s group, The Wiggles. All in all, it was a great day.It was a very special day. The parents, the children and guests were just great.

Phew this was a big night with The Three Amigos Plus One. Adelaides, Australia’s favorite Mariachi Band. We were supposed to show the guests the Mexican ritual but the birthday boy said they have already gone through 7 bottles of Tequila so having everyone participate in the Mexican Ritual would have left us with no Tequila.! HA BUT the night was an absolute Mariachi fun experience. The dancing was constant, the people were great, the food was delish. They loved us so much that even after 3 hours, we had been invited to play another set. Of course we did. Money talks Amigos ! and we deliver the Mexican goods as always with 200% effort each time. It certainly was a party in true Mexican Mariachi style.

We couldn’t have asked for a better day. A fantastic crowd, a lovely couple, and a sensational Mexican Mariachi Band Adelaide Australia. Glen Ewin Estate is a beautiful place to get married. It’s picturesque, peaceful and elegant. The The Three Amigos Plus Two, thats right two extra Amigos, adding an additional player to the Mexican Set. Nick our accordion player entertained the wedding guests with his Italian songs like the Tarantella. Due to the amount Italians at the wedding, having Nick was the perfect addition. You may know songs like O Campagnola Bella. These are one the great Italian classics that are very much appreciated by the Italian community. Even the kids joined in to dance to our songs. They must be old souls and love Mariachi music ! It was a wedding to remember and we loved every minute of it.

The most amazing festival we have ever experienced. The Multicultural Festival in Canberra which we fortunate to be a part of. We had been amongst a crowd of 180,000 people. Thats right, just on the Saturday alone !! Just to walk through the crowd was shoulder to shoulder and an amazing energy that wandered through the crowd. 9 stages, 400 food outlets, 100’s of performers. Just a massive event and one worth to experience. We performed for the day and it was such an honor to perform to such a diverse culture of people that sincerely appreciated our Mariachi Mexican performance. The only one of its kind in Australia. So many people gathered to watch us play as you can see by the photos and in return we gave them the full Mariachi Mexican experience. Fun, Interaction and High Energy.
The following day we had received a call from the festival director to invite us back next year for a longer stay. !!!! What do you think we said?
Of course we said YES.. As street performers we excel in this area. It’s our Mariachi Mexican specialty. We thrive, we jive, we entertain, we laugh, we interact, we love it and so does the crowd. It’s a win win for everyone.
A few shout outs:
A big shout at to the Duty Manager from the beautiful QT Hotel in Canberra. A few issues had risen for us upon our arrival at QT Hotel which Ytza managed dealt with patiently, maturely and ensured the situations we stumbled across were taken care of, midst the line up !!
Another big shout out to Christina from Virgin Airlines. It was about 5.30am in the morning and we hit a few snags at bag drop offs. Christina along with a friendly smile found ways to rectify the situation that could have potentially had one of our Mariachi boys miss a flight. You can just tell the people that go above and beyond and she was one of them which is refreshing to see.
All in all we felt quite fortunate that we had experienced customer service officers who cared about your wellbeing as a customer.

It’s Valentines Day and coming straight off Virgin Airlines from our trip in Canberra over the weekend and on our way to Foodland Pasadena for one of 2 shows ending at Foodland Frewville. I thought I would never say this but walking into these two Foodland stores gave us the warm and fuzzys. They had a really good feel about them. Moving right along, shoppers loved the idea of having music in the stores and in particular this famous Mexican Mariachi band from Adelaide Australia. We noticed that it just put a smile on their faces. Some shoppers came up to sing with us as we sung that old classic Italian song, Marina. That doesn’t surprise us as our highest intention as a Mariachi Mexican Band is create happiness and fun memories. Not only the adults but the kids loved it as well. Of course as versatile we are we had them covered. We ripped out tunes like Incy Wincy Spider, Hot Potato and Toot Toot Chugga Chugga. Happy Kids, Happy Days we say ! well for that mment until their parents go to another isle then shall the shelves come down !! Haha. Is it a good idea to take kids shopping. You tell us.
We had the best time performing at both stores of Foodland in Frewville and Pasadena.

OOhhh what a night !!!!!! How do you bottle up one of the best nights you have ever had and share it with people. It was one of those nights that started from the second we got there and it didn’t stop. The crowd were singing, dancing, laughing the whole time. We didn’t want to go home. As a band, you thrive on the energy of your guests, the more they enjoy the more you enjoy. It was another Mexican Mariachi themed night for Pam and Alan. 30 years of marriage. Their secret? Pam says, Patience. Alan says, I Love You.. Sounds like the perfect plan to a successful marriage. From your favourite Mexican Mariachi Band and all the way from Adelaide Australia say thank you for one of the most memorable nights in Mexican Mariachi Adelaide History.
