It’s Valentines Day and coming straight off Virgin Airlines from our trip in Canberra over the weekend and on our way to Foodland Pasadena for one of 2 shows ending at Foodland Frewville. I thought I would never say this but walking into these two Foodland stores gave us the warm and fuzzys. They had a really good feel about them. Moving right along, shoppers loved the idea of having music in the stores and in particular this famous Mexican Mariachi band from Adelaide Australia. We noticed that it just put a smile on their faces. Some shoppers came up to sing with us as we sung that old classic Italian song, Marina. That doesn’t surprise us as our highest intention as a Mariachi Mexican Band is create happiness and fun memories. Not only the adults but the kids loved it as well. Of course as versatile we are we had them covered. We ripped out tunes like Incy Wincy Spider, Hot Potato and Toot Toot Chugga Chugga. Happy Kids, Happy Days we say ! well for that mment until their parents go to another isle then shall the shelves come down !! Haha. Is it a good idea to take kids shopping. You tell us.
We had the best time performing at both stores of Foodland in Frewville and Pasadena.

OOhhh what a night !!!!!! How do you bottle up one of the best nights you have ever had and share it with people. It was one of those nights that started from the second we got there and it didn’t stop. The crowd were singing, dancing, laughing the whole time. We didn’t want to go home. As a band, you thrive on the energy of your guests, the more they enjoy the more you enjoy. It was another Mexican Mariachi themed night for Pam and Alan. 30 years of marriage. Their secret? Pam says, Patience. Alan says, I Love You.. Sounds like the perfect plan to a successful marriage. From your favourite Mexican Mariachi Band and all the way from Adelaide Australia say thank you for one of the most memorable nights in Mexican Mariachi Adelaide History.

It was a lovely surprise birthday party for Lucy on behalf of her wonderful husband. Another Mexican Mariachi theme that does not go out of fashion. A genre that everyone loves and connects with. Its fun to listen and dance to and appeals to young and old. During the show Australia’s favourite Mariachi Band Adelaide taught everyone the Mexican Ritual. Day Three was an Elvis blast. The Elvis Parkes Festival is in full swing offering an array of acts from The entertaining Blues Brothers of Sydney, to the skilled Swing Kats and a plethora high quality Elvis Impersonators like Brendon Chase and Shawn Spiteri. Very entertaining. We commenced our performance with a street parade, much like your Christmas Pageant but Elvis style. What an absolute fun Mariachi Mexican Experience and the crowd loved our interaction, silliness and singing tunes keeping them entertained. We followed on with a roving performance again in Clorinda St, Parkes and it was another huge hit. We entered the Elvis Central Station and played to a fun crowd. They were dancing and singing to some RocknRoll tunes. We then hit the streets yet again performing and there was nothing short of a photo taken. People flocking in as we sang Mexican Mariachi tunes along with Elvis numbers. We were only meant to play for an hour but I think 2 hours went by as we lost track of time. Why? Just having too much Elvis Mexican Mariachi Fun in Acapulco. Ole. This is a festival not to be missed. Its friendly, family oriented, great food, amazing staff and outstanding entertainers.

Each day just keeps getting better and with a crowd of 22,000 right in the heart of Parkes festival its an exhilarating experience. We, The Three Amigos Roving Plus 1, Australia’s favorite Mariachi Mexican Band commenced our performance staged with an interactive fun crowd. We started off with a great song called Tequila which got the crowd in Tequila spirits. Ole A few rocknroll numbers again like Shake Rattle and Roll to See You Later Alligator and some good ole classic Elvis tunes like Hound Dog and All Shook Up. The up close and personal roving Clorinda St in Parkes is certainly where we thrive as a roving act. Is it fair to say we got ambushed with photos singing a mix of Mexican, RocknRoll and Elvis tunes the crowd much appreciated. We could have kept playing for many hours but at some point we had to rest our Mexican bodies, rejuvenate for the next days performance.

Who says Elvis is dead. There are plenty of Elvis right here in Parkes. The Iconic Elvis Parkes Festival has been running for 26 years ! WOW and this years theme is Fun In Acapulco which has a Mexican theme. This is where Australia’s favourite Mariachi Mexican Band Australia steps in. Our first staged performance was well received and the crowd really enjoyed our performance. Even the kiddies. For the children during our soundcheck we played them a Wiggles song, “Toot Toot Chugga Chugga”. We couldn’t help ourselves. We commenced with a few Mexican Spanish Mariachi flavory tunes like Guantanamera and then hit them with a few Elvis numbers like All Shook Up and Hound Dog. And if you think what else can this versatile act do. I’m glad you asked. We can also sing some RocknRoll numbers like See You Later Alligator to Shake Rattle and Roll.

What a sensational Mariachi night. The crowd were on cue from the moment we walked in and didn’t stop for 3 hours ! It was a mexican hit of a night. A few Tequilas helped with our vocals, you know…keep things warm. A home Mexican themed Christmas function that was one of the nights you can not explain. Jam packed fun and silliness. There was Mexican Food, Tequila, Mexican Mariachi music, the guests were dressed Mexican, the house was decorated Mexican Mariachi style. A great way to end the year with Mexican celebrations. Well last night was MexicanMariachi fun here in Adelaide, South Australia, Australia. A big shout out to the catering. The Apothecary 1878. Sensational food and if you haven’t been before their venue is located in Hindley St. A unique looking bar with a great vibe for all manner of functions. Do yourself a favor and go check it out. I have played their several times and will upload a pic shortly.
This function was for one of our regular corporate clients Crawford Legal and we had performed at the building of Freemasons. A great venue for all sorts of functions located in North Tce, Adelaide CBD.
